Azra Ilya en TSOP.?.SKG spelen: Singer-songwriter Azra Ilya schrijft melodieuze, verhalende liedjes over onder andere verlies, hoop, vorige liefdes en klimaatverandering. Samen met producer Tessa Rose Jackson heeft zij pas geleden haar eerste EP die nog moet uitkomen. Haar muziek valt onder Indiepop en doet soms even terugdenken aan de jaren '80. Op "Quiet is the New Loud!" zal zij meer intiem, dromerig repertoire laten horen. TSOP.?.SKG een singer-songwriter uit Griekenland, momenteel woonachtig in Utrecht, Nederland. Zijn stem en gitaren, fragiel en zacht, creëren een intieme - bijna tastbare- sfeer. Nostalgisch en bewolkt, maar ook krachtig en luid, zijn muziek gaat over samenzijn, dromen en herinneringen ophalen.

Azra Ilya and TSOP.?.SKG will play for you: Singer-songwriter Azra Ilya writes melodic, narrative songs about loss, hope, past loves and climate change. She recently released her first EP with producer Tessa Rose Jackson. Her music falls under Indie pop and is sometimes reminiscent of the 80s. On "Quiet is the New Loud!" she will play a more intimate, dreamy repertoire. TSOP.?.SKG a singer-songwriter from Greece currently living in Utrecht, Netherlands. His voice and guitars, while fragile and mellow respectively, create an intimate -almost tangible- atmosphere. Nostalgic and cloudy, but also powerful and loud, his music is about togetherness, dreaming and reminiscing.

Quiet is the New Loud! is een intieme concertavond voor liefhebbers van subtiele, akoestische muziek. De rustige sfeer van de bblthk vormt de perfecte plek om met volle aandacht te luisteren naar singer-songwriters en bands.

Deze reeks bestaat al sinds 2011 en heeft inmiddels een vaste plek in Wageningen. Wat de avonden bijzonder maakt, is de aandachtige sfeer: het publiek luistert in stilte en geeft alle ruimte aan de muziek.

This series has been running since 2011 and has since become a fixture in Wageningen. What makes these evenings special is the attentive atmosphere: the audience listens in silence, giving the music center stage.
