Tijdens deze bijzondere avond maakt u kennis met de rijke cultuur van de Yazidi-gemeenschap. We vertonen een documentaire (Engels ondertiteld) over mensen uit Sinjar, waarin thema’s als muziek, liefde en veerkracht centraal staan. De film wordt vertoond van 20:10 tot 21:00 uur.

Na afloop is er ruimte voor gesprek, live muziek en het proeven van traditionele Yazidi-gerechten. Een avond om samen te komen, te luisteren, te leren en te genieten van een cultuur die in Nederland nog relatief onbekend is.

An evening to discover the culture of the Yazidi community

During this special evening, you are invited to explore the rich culture of the Yazidi community. We will screen a documentary (with English subtitles) about people from Sinjar, focusing on themes such as music, love, and resilience. The film will be shown from 20:10 to 21:00.

After the screening, there will be space for conversation, live music, and the opportunity to taste traditional Yazidi dishes. An evening to come together, listen, learn, and enjoy a culture that is still relatively unknown in the Netherlands.
